The renowned columnist of “Touche pas à mon poste” decided to leave the program hosted by Cyril Hanouna on May 12. Since leaving, he has had difficulty obtaining a new position in the media industry.
In a live Instagram session, Laurent Karila expressed concern over the dearth of demand from television networks despite his popularity with the public.
Multiple job interviews have resulted in rejections due to a perception of being “divisive” and “at risk.” Fans are aware of Delormeau’s emotional difficulties, and he has been seeing a psychologist for several years.
After two years of therapy, he was diagnosed as hypersensitive, causing him to experience incessant anxiety due to an emotional overflow.
He tends to take things very seriously, as evidenced by his reaction to his recent rejection by a television network, which he characterized as “ten days of great diva.”
Matthieu Delormeau Accident: Injury and Health 2023
Matthieu Delormeau has not recently been involved in an accident or sustained an injury. As mentioned previously, the TV host had experienced several emotional outbursts, compelling him to seek the assistance of a therapist.
Matthieu Delormeau is in excellent physical health in 2023, but in 2018 he was involved in a tragic scooter accident.
After leaving the set of the program hosted by Cyril Hanouna on April 11, 2014, he was involved in a serious scooter accident on the same day.
Following the incident, a medical team provided care and spent the night at the Ambroise Paré hospital in Paris.
To reassure his followers, the columnist posted a photo of himself in bed the following day, along with a description of his injuries, which included stitches, burns, and bruising.
Delormeau expressed his gratitude to all those who assisted him during the scooter tragedy. He used this opportunity to warn fellow scooter riders about the significance of taking additional precautions.
Matthieu advised against the use of scooters in general, citing the unpredictability of life. He concluded by extending his sincerest regards to his followers.
Matthieu was born in the 14th arrondissement of Paris and is the son of a lawyer at the Paris Bar and managing partner of a firm in the city, Jean-Hugues Delormeau.
Unfortunately, when he was only nine years old, he lost his mother. After his mother’s death, his parents divorced, and his father married Caroline de Sars.
Julie, Matthieu’s older sister, is the legal director for TF1, and Guillaume, his younger sibling, is a guitarist.
