Sean pursued his basketball career in France and Puerto Rico before returning to the United States and entering the business world. He spent three years at Encore Nationwide before returning to the sports industry. In 2006, he became Minerals Area College’s associate head coach.

Sean previously worked with AAU and high school basketball before joining the Minerals. Sean attended Mineral Area College for four years before becoming the assistant men’s basketball coach at Chicago State University. He worked in the same position in Chicago for six years before moving on to New Mexico Highlands University for one year.

Sean was appointed as Eastern Michigan University’s sports academic advisor in 2017. He organized and coached baseball, women’s volleyball, gymnastics, swimming, and track and field. Sean has been Grand Canyon University’s academic coordinator for beach volleyball, men’s golf, and women’s golf programs since 2020.

Sean is a member of both the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association and the Black Coaches Association. The former basketball star has eschewed social media, and Kasean has never shared anything about his family on Instagram.

Kasean Pryor’s Career

Kasean is a Chicago, Illinois native who graduated from Ann Arbor Pioneer High School. Kasean was a two-time letter winner at Ann Arbor, with a senior year average of 15 points and nine rebounds. He was also named to the All-State and First-Team Southeastern Conference Red lists.

In his junior season, the forward averaged 14 points and nine rebounds, earning him a spot on the Ann Arbor Area Dream Team. Kasean went on to play two seasons at Boise State after graduating from Ann Arbor. Kasean averaged 1.2 points and 1.0 rebounds in five games during his rookie season.

His numbers improved in his sophomore year when he played eight games and averaged 2.3 points and 1.4 rebounds. Kasean later attended Northwest Florida State, where he played and started 35 games in his single season. He averaged 14.8 points per game. Kasean has revealed his decision to join the University of South Florida in May 2023, over NC State, St. John’s, and New Mexico.
