O.J. Simpson: Who are his Wife and children?

Simpson has in total of five children, four of whom are still alive, from two marriages. On June 24, 1967, Simpson married Marguerite L. Whitley. Arnelle, Jason, and Aaren were their three children.

Aaren Lashone Simpson, born in 1977, drowned in the family’s swimming pool just a month before her second birthday. In the same year, Simpson and Marguerite got divorced, and after the divorce, such a tragic incident.

When Aaren was born, Simpson met Nicole, who worked as a waitress at The Daisy nightclub. When Simpson met Nicole Brown, he was a teenager but was married to his first wife, Marguerite. Simpson married Nicole Brown in the year 1985. Furthermore, the same year he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and the couple has two children: Justin and Sydney.

Brown Simpson complained to friends and family about her marriage, claiming that Simpson was physically aggressive. According to sources, the former football player fought with his wife at a 1989 New Year’s Eve party, during which he allegedly threatened to murder Nicole.

In an interview, he downplayed the event, saying: “We had a dispute. We were both to be blamed for that. There were no injuries to any of us. It wasn’t a big deal, and we went about our business.”  And in 1992, Nicole filed for divorce.

O.J.Simpson’s Kids: Eldest Daughter Arnelle

In 1967, O.J. married his first wife, Marguerite L. Whitley. Arnelle, his first and eldest daughter, was born to her in December 1968. She watched her father have a hugely successful football career as she grew up.

Arnelle Simpson was a witness in O.J.’s murder trial when she was just 25 years old, and she was a staunch supporter of her father. Arnelle’s connection with her father deteriorated in the years following the trial as she experienced adversity.

According to DailyMailO.J. was enraged with his daughter in 2012 for failing to pay his South Florida property mortgage. She was also said to have had a drinking problem.

“O.J. argued with Arnelle about her drinking all the time, and he tried for years to have her married so he could get her out of his house,” a family member told D.M. “She’d just sit around and drink vodka for the rest of her life, even for breakfast.”

O.J.Simpson’s Kids: Eldest Son Jason

JasonO.J.’s oldest son, was born in April 1970. Jason is the most well-known of the Juice’s children, maybe because he was also a suspect in Nicole’s murder.

According to Business Insider, private investigator William Dear proposed the hypothesis in his book O.J. Is Innocent, And I Can Prove It. Jason was abusing alcohol and drugs, showing signs of mental instability, and being arrested for assault are a few of the reasons that William believes Jason is the real killer of Nicole Brown’s death.

Currently, Jason is working as a professional chef in Atlanta. He was always a very quiet person by nature.

O.J.Simpson’s Kids: Aaren Simpson

In September 1977, O.J.’s last child with Marguerite Aaren was born. Unfortunately, the toddler died in August 1979, just shy of her second birthday, when she was just one year old. She died of respiratory failure afterward, drowning in a swimming pool.

O.J.Simpson’s Kids: Sydney Brooke Simpson

Following the divorce of O.J. and Marguerite in 1979, the former NFL player married Nicole in 1985. Sydney Brooke, their 38-year-old daughter, was born in October 1985. When Sydney’s mother was murdered, she was just nine years old.

Nicole’s daughter attended Gulliver Academy as a child and later went to Boston University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2010. Sydney Brooke, with her brother Justin, stayed off-grid while working in Georgia at a restaurant.

She now lives in Los Angeles in Brentwood while running her own business. Sydney owns different businesses in LA, USA

O.J.Simpson’s Kids: Justin Ryan Simpson

JustinO.J.’s youngest son, was born in August 1988. When Justin lost his mother, he was only five years old at the time.

According to a 2016 Tampa Bay Times piece, Justin and Sydney both live in St. Petersburg, Florida. He is currently working as a real estate agent.

O.J. Simpson’s Career

Football Career

Simpson came to popularity as a two-time All-American halfback for the University of Southern California Trojans when he set NCAA records and won the Heisman Trophy in 1968.

O.J. Simpson made his professional debut with the Buffalo Bills in 1969, but he didn’t shine until the offense was tweaked to highlight his running ability. Furthermore, Simpson, dubbed “The Juice,” rushed for 1,000 yards five years in a row (1972–76). Simpson also led the National Football League in that category four times.

Death of Brown Simpson and Goldman

Sydney and Justin Simpson were eight and five years old when their mother, Nicole Brown Simpson, was brutally murdered with her friend Ron Goldman at her house on June 12, 1994.

The Simpson children were forced to cope with the fact that they would never see their mother again in the aftermath of that tragic night a quarter-century ago. Also, they also had to watch as their father, retired NFL superstar O.J. Simpson, got accused of the heinous murders and ultimately acquitted in what would be dubbed the “trial of the century.”

Brown Simpson and her companion Goldman were found stabbed to death outside of her condominium in the Brentwood neighborhood of Los Angeles on June 12, 1994. Simpson was accused of murder based on little evidence.

On June 17, Simpson was instructed to surrender by 11 a.m., but he managed to escape until later that day when he made a call from his cell phone on the Santa Ana Freeway. The police pursued, culminating in a nationally broadcast slow-speed chase of a white Ford Bronco driven by ex-NFL player Al “A.C.” Cowlings with Simpson in the backseat.

On the evening of June 17, Simpson willingly surrendered at his Brentwood house. Even though he was found with a rifle, passport, $9,000 in cash, and a disguise, he mentioned that he “wasn’t running.” He then pled “absolutely, positively, 100 percent not guilty” to the charges of murder.

‘If I Did It’: Story of O.J. Simpson

Simpson planned to publish If I Did It, a ghostwritten description of how he would have committed the Brown Simpson/Goldman killings, in late 2006. Still, after a publishing contract with HarperCollins fell through, a federal bankruptcy judge handed the book’s rights to Goldman’s family.

Recent Years of Simpson

Simpson is now living in the Las Vegas region after serving nine years in prison for armed robbery. In October 2017, Simpson was freed from a Nevada jail and started living his life in Vegas.

However, not long after his release from prison, Simpson was back in the press for poor behavior.
