In Santa Barbara, California, on April 5, 1991, Rachel Ballinger was born. She grew raised with two elder brothers, Trent and Chris, as well as an older sister, Colleen. Despite coming from a family of YouTubers, Rachel didn’t think she had what it took to be a content producer. Unfortunately had trouble finding new employment.
Bars wouldn’t hire her despite taking a bartending course because of her insufficient experience. In a video titled Why No One Would Hire Me, Rachel claimed, “I think I applied to something like twenty places when I wanted to be a bartender and no one would hire me.
I thought I would work as a hostess as I had done so in the past. And they responded, “No.” You must possess experience, but how can you achieve that if no one will hire you? ”
Ballinger eventually earned a psychology bachelor’s degree from the university. She attempted to join the LAPD as a police officer but failed some of her tests. Rachel joined her sister’s production team while she waited for a year to pass before she could reapply since she was determined to join the police. Rachel was encouraged to try YouTube by Colleen Ballinger, and once she started watching, she couldn’t stop.
According to Rachel, it “became my passion and I determined it’s what I wanted to be doing with my life.” Rachel’s exponential growth on YouTube can mostly be attributed to her creativity and humor, but collaboration with other content creators also helped give her channel more exposure.
“It truly wasn’t something planned, it was supposed to just be a fun thing to pass the time and make a little money to keep me afloat,” she says.
She said that working with others “helps get new eyes on your channel that might not have found you otherwise.”
In addition, Rachel, who comes from a family of renowned content creators with whom she frequently collaborates, says that getting to know people in the community is good. She said she mostly enjoys making movies with her mother, according to Mediakix:
Rachel Ballinger came out as a Gay
Rachel Ballinger decided to come out as gay during the romantic month of February 2021. She revealed in a tweet that she had made her sexual orientation known in a video that YouTube had demonetized. It didn’t lessen the joy of accepting her genuineness, though. Tweeted Rachel
“A human reviewer at @YouTube demonetized my first vlog after it was claimed that I frequently used strong language in the title, thumbnail, or opening 30 seconds. I never swear online. That’s cool, then. I love being gay! ”
Rachel received an apology from YouTube in response to her tweet, and the company assured her that the error had been fixed. Following her confirmation that she had ended her relationship with Matt, Rachel made the admission. In a TikTok video from December 2020, she encouraged rumors of a breakup by asking viewers to “put their finger down if you broke up with someone this year.”
In a furious TikTok video from January 2021, she rants about Matt not responding to her and using her credit card to buy groceries as she announces their split. She screamed:
“My ex and I haven’t spoken in over a month. I haven’t spoken to this man in more than a month since we broke up in September. In September, we split up. We were entangled for eight years, therefore I’ve attempted to. Since I don’t have the login details, can you cancel my subscription to this? “No answer.” He’s paying for food and gas with my credit card! The boldness
Rachel didn’t like Matt’s hair, thus their relationship didn’t get off to a good start. Ballinger disclosed in a video titled The Truth About Me that Matt’s long hair was removed shortly before the couple began dating. They then went on to establish an eight-year, closely guarded romance.
Rachel is highly particular about the Businesses
Rachel Ballinger has had quite the journey, going from being unemployed to having enough influence to turn down working with some brands. If a brand doesn’t speak to her, Rachel won’t work with it. She will decline their offer if she can’t use the product or doesn’t like the firm.
I adore food, phone games, sports, and exercise, she said.
So I’m probably going to say yes to anything related to that,” Rachel said. “Content producers frequently deal with hostility, and she is no exception.” To illustrate how insensitive individuals can be, one simply needs to read the comments on her tweet announcing her homosexuality. Thankfully, Rachel has developed the ability to overlook the animosity over time. She uttered:
“Learning that I need to have thick skin has been the hardest lesson I’ve had to learn while building my channel. You can’t let other people’s negativity get the better of you or keep you down. As corny as that may seem, it is the reality. You’ll receive one negative comment for every 100 positive ones; that’s just how the internet operates.
