During a recent concert, Vince Gill paid homage to his wife Amy Grant. Grant was involved in a bike accident last month, requiring her to reschedule her outings. Corinna Gill, the singer’s daughter, joined Vince at the Ryman Auditorium on Thursday, August 4, while he was on tour with the Eagles.
Corinna joined her father on stage for a duet of When My Amy Prays from his 2019 album, Okie. Following Grant’s mistake, a note on her Instagram page stated that she was treated and advised to stay at home until she had recovered.
Corrina felt unhappy during her performance, comparing herself to her father, and sang “when my mother prays” instead of “when my Amy prays.”

In 2000, Amy Grant and Vince Gill got hitched. When they were getting ready to shoot a music video for the lead single from Grant’s 1994 album, House of Love, they first stumbled into one other in 1993.
Grant recalled their first encounter as “instantly familiar,” and she was so impacted by him as a human being that she embraced him as he was singing. Gill was inspired by Grant and composed a song called Whenever You Come Around, which he played at the Ryman in 2015.
