Muani’s ancestry is significant to him
Randal Kolo Muani was born in Bondy to Congolese parents. His brother and he were raised in Villepinte, where his parents now reside. He asserts that his forefathers are extremely important to him.
When asked about his origins, he stated that he possessed everything Congolese, including a pleasant disposition, and that he enjoys dancing, though not necessarily to the music of Koffi Olomide, a Congolese Soukous artist.
Aside from that, he is quite close with his family, who have supported him since he started playing football. He stated that his father never misses a game and that he sometimes arrives three or four days in advance.
His football Experience
Kolo Mauni reflected on his football career to date during an interview with Vista. According to him, he first took the examinations in Serie C and later in Serie B.
Since he had nothing left after the U17 national team and did not wish to continue, he was more content to move to Serie B.
He desired either to depart or to do something. His preparation for the Serie C exam in his first year and the Serie B exam in his second year was going well, but his father disagreed.
Once, his father called and asked what was going on. He asked him about the contracts and everything else, but he had no knowledge. His father informed him that school was going to begin and that he needed to return home, but he refused since he desired to remain there.
Following the phone call, he felt his football career was over and spent the rest of the night grieving and thinking about what he would do.
He returned home and began his agency meetings. His father would converse with his agents more frequently than he did. Before joining Nantes’ youth program at age 15 and securing a professional contract with the club in 2018, he played for a variety of Paris teams.
Kolo Mauni stated that at the age of 17, he was nothing. He was merely exercising while attending to his parents and agency.
Kolo was selected for the World Cup squad in place of Nkunku
Didier Deschamps has just added Kolo Mauni to the 2022 World Cup squad. He replaced RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku, who was forced to withdraw from the competition due to a training injury.
He was summoned on November 16, 2022, to replace the injured Nkunku. In September 2022, Kolo Mauni received his first call-up to the national team for two UEFA Nations League matches.
During an interview, he recalled the moment he received his first call-up to France.
He stated that he did not expect to see his name on Deschamps’ list, but his brother and friends alerted him of speculations that he would be chosen, so he turned on the television to see the news conference. He was truly surprised to hear his own name.
Randal Kolo Muani was on the phone with his brother, informing him that he will contact their father together later. According to him, his mother was crying because she was so proud of him.

In an interview, Frankfurt’s sports director Markus Kroshe stated that it is not in their intentions to release him next summer, that they are the ideal environment for him, and that remaining with them will aid in his long-term development.
