Tenoch Huerta plays Namor, Marvel’s iconic Sub-Mariner who has been a mainstay in the comics since the late ’30s, and he will be making his dramatic introduction into the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the next film. Tenoch Huerta was open about how Mesoamerican history and culture served as an inspiration for Namor in the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. “You can either adopt from a real culture or take Atlantis from Greek myth.”
