How did Ali Stroker start her Professional Career?

Stroker has given solo performances at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., as well as at the Lincoln Center in New York City and the Town Hall in New York. She performed the lead role in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee.

The 2011 short film I Was a Mermaid and Now I’m a Pop Star featured Stroker. In 2012, she auditioned for “The Glee Project” and was selected for a 12-episode run. Her second-place finish in the competition earned her a cameo role as Betty Pillsbury, Ms. Pilsbury’s niece, in the Season 4 episode “I Do”

She appeared alongside Gary Cole in the 2014 film Cotton. Between 2014 and 2015, Stroker appeared in three episodes of the MTV series “Faking It” as Wendy. In 2017, Ali Stroker’s Ten Days in the Valley starred Stroker as Tamara.

In 2018, she played Ado Annie in the acclaimed revival of “Oklahoma” at St. Ann’s Warehouse. Stroker received the 2019 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical after moving to the Circle in the Square Theatre on Broadway.
