Between 1967 and 1987, a British serial killer by the name of Frederick Walter Stephen West, also known as Fred West, killed at least 12 people in Gloucestershire. Fred’s sexual depravity served as the catalyst for numerous killings; the crimes were preceded by a pattern of rape, bondage, and torture.
He tortured and killed two of his daughters with the help of his wife because he had a sexual interest in them. The two were repeatedly held but were ultimately found not guilty due to a lack of evidence.
