Lucy Verasamy works for ITV Weather and Good Morning Britain. Following her graduation from Brunel University, Lucy worked for the Press Association’s weather center for four years, producing newspaper forecasts. After then, she worked for Sky as a frequent weathercaster for the Sunrise morning program.
By responding to viewer inquiries on the Climate Clinic – Ask Lucy section of the Sky News Website in 2007, she took part in Sky’s Green Britain initiative. Verasamy also contributed to The Weather Girls blog on Sky News. As a journalist and environmental correspondent, Lucy joined ITV in 2012.

Despite keeping her personal life very private, Lucy was linked to fellow broadcaster Alex Beresford in 2016. After she published a sweet Instagram picture of the couple, the suspicions started to spread.
However, as fast as they began, the whispers died down. Tomasz Schafernaker, a contestant on Celebrity Masterchef, and Lucy were also rumored to be dating, although they declined to acknowledge it. Lucy seems to be single right now.

Since she started working for ITV, Lucy’s career has advanced significantly. She has served as the media outlet’s primary national weather broadcaster since 2012. In 2017, she became a weather expert for ITV Racing and a replacement weather presenter for Good Morning Britain.
Lucy was scheduled to feature with Philip Schofield on ITV’s How to Spend it Well on Holiday in March 2020.
In the program, Lucy and Philip collaborate with famous people to provide advice on how to make wise travel financial decisions. Unfortunately, the coronavirus epidemic forced ITV to postpone the show’s airing. ITV has not yet announced a premiere date for the show.

“When strange things are mentioned on Instagram, I occasionally respond with comments. However, I will delete any offensive remarks since I will not put up with them. They merely desire a response from you. You have to have thick skin, which I have grown quite a bit of. I believe having three boys as a child helped me learn not to take things too seriously.
