Malcolm Brogdon was chosen by the Milwaukee Bucks on June 23, 2016, in the 2016 NBA Draft. He struck a deal with the group on July 30. On October 26, 2016, the first day of the Bucks’ regular season, Malcolm attended his first NBA game. He had 8 points and 5 assists in a game against the Charlotte Hornets.

Brogdon recorded his first triple-double of his professional career on December 31, 2016, against the Chicago Bulls, tallying 15 points, 11 rebounds, and 12 assists. Malcolm participated in the January 2017 Rising Stars Challenge as a member of the US Team.
