Saturday, April 9, People magazine exclusively announced the wedding of WWE superstar Alexa Bliss and singer-songwriter Ryan Cabrera. According to the magazine, the couple wed in Palm Desert, California, at Kempa Villa.
During an interview with the newspaper, Bliss allegedly characterized her wedding as “quite non-traditional.” It was also disclosed that their wedding would have a “rockstar” theme.
Ryan said to People,
“Everything is designed to bring out our personalities, and we are anything but average.”

Alexa Bliss appeared on the podcast Nikki and Brie Bella in August of 2020 and discussed how she met her beau Ryan.
Bliss (30) stated in the interview that Michael Gregory Mizanin (also known as The Miz) was their mutual acquaintance. Miz questioned Cabrera about her, but he was oblivious to her WWE fame, according to Bliss’ description of their encounter.
She stated:
“Therefore, Miz, Ryan’s closest friend, contacted him and inquired about his relationship with Alexa Bliss, but Ryan was unaware of my existence. Miz eventually revealed that it was a coworker of his. Then we began conversing, and he invited me to one of his performances and inquired about my origin.”
Ryan reportedly asked Bliss out on a date after inviting her to his Orlando event. Apparently, the wrestler declined the offer at the time. Bliss continued by saying:
“I attended the event, and he invited me out afterward, but I declined. However, we continued talking, and he was incredibly patient and persistent, and we became great friends. Eventually, an amazing partnership developed. He is very accomplished and kind.”
They dated for a year prior to their engagement
Alexa Bliss and Ryan began dating sometime in late 2019 after the meeting. A year later, on November 15, 2020, Ryan Cabrera proposed to Bliss, and the couple became engaged.
During an Instagram live session, Alexa Bliss revealed that Ryan Cabrera composed a song for her that was played in the background during their proposal. The same melody was played as Bliss walked down the aisle at their wedding.
Before going down on one knee, Cabrera told her,
“I’ve waited 38 years to do this,” according to a live Instagram post. Cabrera informed Bliss on their second date that they would eventually marry, according to Bliss. Nicely, they also made public declarations of their affection for one another. During her participation on the Bella sisters’ podcast, Bliss stated:
“He literally breaks his back to make me happy.”
