The 23, of March 1989 saw the birth of Ayesha Curry to John and Carol Alexander. Along with her four siblings, Chad, Jaz, Janiece, and Maria, she grew up.
While Ayesha’s mother is Chinese Jamaican and Afro-Jamaican, her father is African-American and Polish. Curry didn’t have a problem with her multi-ethnic heritage in Canada, but when the family relocated to the US, she experienced an identity crisis.
She was pushed to decide the ethnicity she wanted to identify with by the culture in the United States. She admitted to TheView that she simply identified as a black lady in Canada. Ayesha’s numerous nationalities, however, appeared to irk the American black community. She uttered:
“It appeared like my own community wasn’t interested in encircling and embracing me. It stung in that way. Because we come in so many various shades, I just want my community to welcome them all. There are multiple hues of melanin; it is not a singular substance. I cherish my melanin.

When they were teenagers, Ayesha and Steph Curry met in Charlotte, North Carolina. Years after they parted ways, they reconciled and got married in July 2011. Curry and Steph have been married for nine years, and as of right now, they are parents to three kids.
According to Ayesha, her mother’s straightforward advice has helped her maintain a happy marriage. She claimed Carol had advised her to remain true to herself:
“Always make sure that you have the passion that you’re fulfilling, whatever it is you’re doing, whether you’re a stay-at-home mom or not, whatever it is in your marriage,” she advised. I paid attention to that, which helped me remain who I am. I want my husband to always see the same lady he first saw when they were married, if not a better one.
