Victoria Principal is well-known for playing Pamela Barnes Ewing in the soap drama Dallas. In 1987, the twice-nominated actress for a Golden Globe moved away from Dallas and established Victoria Principal Productions. After the turn of the century, Victoria left Hollywood to concentrate on running her cosmetics company.
According to her statement to People, “My interest had changed in such a way that I was unable to continue my passion, which was more and more genuinely focused on my skincare business and developing goods that could benefit many people.”
Before stepping down to concentrate on philanthropy, Principal operated her skincare business for almost three decades. She wanted to spend more time at The Victoria Principal Foundation for Thoughtful Existence and her nearby animal rescue and rehabilitation center. Victoria provided the following statement to Entertainment Tonight:
“I will be retiring after 30 years in the skincare industry and 28 years as President & Founder of Principal Secret to focus on my philanthropic work and my work with animal rescue. Being in the beauty industry for so long and giving so many people healthy, beautiful skin has been a wonderful privilege.
Victoria gave her business partner Guthy-Renker control of Principal Secret. The Principal Foundation has supported a variety of environmental concerns, such as the prohibition of harmful compounds and offshore drilling. Principal has additionally assisted with catastrophe recovery.
Principal is highly active on Instagram, and the majority of her posts are about protecting the environment. She posted the following caption with a picture of herself walking her dog in early June 2021:
