Are Sofia Franklyn And “Call Her Daddy” Host Alex Cooper still friends?

Sofia Franklyn

In 2018, Sofia Franklyn and Alex Cooper co-founded the humor and advice podcast, Call Her Daddy, which they currently present.

However, the two friends broke up in the late spring of 2020 following a confrontation with David Portnoy, the founder of Barstool Sports. Up until June 2021, Barstool owned and distributed the podcast.

Franklyn subsequently left the podcast as a result of their public dispute, and Cooper took over as host.

Alexandra Cooper and Sofia Franklyn won’t be able to get along any time soon

People have been speculating about whether Franklyn and Cooper will ever get back together ever since they ended their romance. Fans also want to know if they are still close pals.

All of those inquiries were answered by the former Call Her Daddy co-host when she made an appearance on a February 2022 episode of The Morning Toast.

She made a remark on the likelihood of the former employees and closest friends rekindling their friendship.

Franklyn even joked during the conversation that if the current Call Her Daddy host offered her $30 million, she could reconsider working with Cooper. She was making reference to Cooper’s $60 million Spotify contract, which is scheduled to start in 2021.

It was also painful to witness something you had worked on for such a long time being sold for such a high price.

Regarding the Spotify/Call Her Daddy deal, Franklyn made a comment.

She continued, ”

“I honestly believe that if we hadn’t lied to one another and I had maintained the program… We always intended to sell it for more money, and I genuinely think we could have.

Franklyn’s comments make it abundantly clear that she and Cooper are not friends and do not have any intentions of getting back together, to cut to the chase.

Launch of Sofia Franklyn’s Own Podcast

Franklyn started her own podcast, Sofia With an F, while Cooper continued to host the Call Her Daddy show.

The online celebrity said she was in a “90 percent better place” in addition to where she is right now professionally when speaking with host Claudia Oshry of The Morning Toast.

Additionally, Franklyn remarked that if she claimed to be entirely the same person she was when she worked at Call Her Daddy, she would be lying.

Conversely, Cooper seems to be succeeding remarkably with the long-running program. Julia Fox, a former adult performer, stars in her most recent episode, which is also doing exceptionally well.

Fox discussed her experiences in the adult industry and her feelings for her lover Kanye West, who is still in love with his divorced wife, Kim Kardashian, during the interview.

The past few weeks have been quite exciting for the program.

I appreciate the Daddy Gang’s unwavering support and their willingness to give the episodes a chance before passing judgment.

Cooper tweeted after the interview received positive feedback.
