Bradley Whitford is currently enjoying a happy marriage with his second wife, Amy Landecker, following his failed marriage to actress Jane Kaczmarek.
Interestingly, the two had a rocky start to their relationship, as Landecker, best known for her role as Sarah Pfefferman on Transparent, wasn’t impressed by the actor when they first met.

In an interview with People in January 2016 at Amazon’s Golden Globe Celebration at the Beverly Hilton Stardust Ballroom, the actor’s wife revealed that she and Whitford didn’t fall in love at first sight.
Instead, when they were just friends, she thought he was “a cocky actor boy” for about a year.
“I knew Bradley for a year before we dated,” she explained, “and I wasn’t really that interested.”
Landecker went on to say that she had recently discovered that if she didn’t like someone at first, it was a sign that they were perfect for her.
Having said that, the diva alluded to the fact that she became the happiest she had ever been after dating Whitford.
In 2015, the now-married couple first met on the set of Transparent.
Landecker portrayed Sarah in the comedy-drama television series, while Whitford appeared in recurring roles as Marcy and Magnus Hirschfeld.

Whitford and his wife Landecker got engaged in March 2018 after dating since the summer of 2015.
The couple made the announcement while attending the 11th Annual Celebration of the 2018 Female Oscar Nominees at Crustacean in Beverly Hills. The actress was seen with a diamond sparkler on her ring finger.
A year later, in July 2019, the couple married in an intimate ceremony.
Whitford confirmed the news on Twitter, saying, “Commander Lawrence married Mrs. McKenzie today in Santa Barbara, in a shocking and completely unexpected plot twist. The shark was jumped, but the couple is overjoyed.”
His tweet was accompanied by a photo of the couple and their dogs. Furthermore, the actress wore a simple blue gown and carried a bouquet, whereas the actor wore a sports coat and leaned into his bride.
Landecker’s rep later confirmed to People that the two were married at the Santa Barbara courthouse by political activist Ady Barkan, with their children from previous relationships and dogs, Izzy and Otis, by their sides.

Before they started dating, both Whitford and Landecker were married to their respective ex-partners.
From August 1992 to October 2010, the West Wing actor was married to actress Kaczmarek.
Frances Genevieve, George Edward, and Mary Louisa were the former couple’s three children.
However, the marriage ended when they announced their divorce after 16 years of marriage in June 2009. In October 2010, the divorce was finalized.
Whitford’s wife Landecker was previously married to musician Jackson Lynch, with whom she has a daughter. In 2011, she divorced her ex-husband.
