We’re sorry, but we’re all here, and that’s how he passed away—surrounded by love and family.

Before his passing away, Bala had been admitted to the Guemes Sanatorium and was being watched. Carlitos fell ill in the afternoon, and after speaking with his primary care physicians, his family decided to take him to the hospital, according to panelist Estefania Berardi during a recent LAM broadcast. For many generations, Carlitos Bala was a beloved childhood figure. After his passing, his admirers paid tribute to him on Twitter:

Overview of Carlitos Bala

Carlitos Bala was a well-known entertainer and expert in kid’s entertainment. He was born on August 13, 1925. He rose to fame thanks to his catchy catchphrases and bowl cut. Like Piluso and Pepito, he made an appearance on a weekly children’s entertainment television program.

Angueto, an unseen dog, is also a member of the main cast of the show. He was well known for his parts in several family-friendly movies as well.

Career Bala started in radio before switching to television. Before being named the Ambassador of Peace in Rome in 1991, he was a member of the Bala, Marchesini, and Locatti trio and paid a visit to Pope Francis in Vatican City.

The Arc de Triomf building designed by Ruben Diaz was dedicated in March 2019 in the Alberti neighborhood of Ituzaingo near Fleming and Brussels. He said, “What does salt taste like?,” and everyone responded, “Salaa.” Bala came up with the idea in 1969 while in Mar del Plata when he pretended not to see a child who was staring at him.

He exclaimed, “Ahhh, the sea tastes like salt,” in response to a question about its flavor. How does salt taste, though? It tasted salty, the child claimed. Carlitos’ mother Juana Boglich Catturich and father Mustafa Balaa were both butchers in Beirut. Felicia, his grandmother, was from Uruguay, and Nicolas, his grandfather, was from Austria. Martin and Laura Balaa, his children, are among those who have lived.
