On September 26, Hulu’s Chefs vs. Wild will premiere its first season. The culinary world will watch a program that combines food and the outdoors.

Famous chef and adventurer Kiran Jethwa, who also hosts and presents the television program Tales From The Bush Larder, which focuses on Africa’s culinary culture, will be the event’s presenter.

Two renowned chefs will search the outdoors for the ingredients they need to make delectable meals in each episode of Chefs vs. Outdoors. Throughout their quest in the wild, the participating chefs will face several perilous tasks in order to complete their culinary challenges.

“Famous chef and adventurer Kiran Jethwa and wild food specialist Valerie Segrest will judge competitors on their abilities to adapt foraged items from the coast of British Columbia into the best five-star dinner.”

The challenge of reaching the top of the culinary industry has never been greater. Every episode of “Chefs vs. Wild” will feature two separate top chefs who are sent into the wild with the impossible task of surviving and gathering enough wild ingredients to make a restaurant-quality, five-star meal.

A well-known chef, restaurateur, and company entrepreneur, Kiran Jethwa is 46 years old. He was raised by an Indian father and an English mother in Nairobi, and both cultures have an influence on his cooking style.

He visited Italy, France, South Africa, South East Asia, South and Central America, and Australia to perfect his culinary skills after receiving his BSc in hospitality management from Manchester. The Chefs vs. Wild hosts are inspired by food from Africa, Europe, and India. His cooking style has been described as a fusion of Indian and Afro-Mediterranean ingredients.

Since 2011, Kiran has served as the executive chef and owner of Seven Restaurants Ltd., one of Nairobi’s premier dining establishments. It includes Seafood & Grill and Seven Lounge & Grill. The restaurants rose to the top of the city’s eating lists in Kenya’s cosmopolitan capital within four years.

Additionally, he has appeared in a variety of television shows. He co-hosted the 2016 season of Food Unwrapped on Channel 4 alongside Jimmy Doherty, Kate Quilton, and Matt Tebbutt. On The Great Kenyan Bake Off, the Kenyan version of The Great British Bake Off on KTN Home, he served as a judge.

Over the course of his career, he has won numerous accolades. He was selected as a finalist for Taste Chef of the Year in both 2012 and 2013, receiving both honors.

He received the accolades of Chefs Delight: Most Innovative Chef and Winner Taste Industry Champion in 2013. His outstanding Freshman debut was on the Fox International TV program Tales From The Bush Larder. It was a three-season, award-winning show that was shown in 60 different nations.
