American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor Ferren “Coco” Lee was born in Hong Kong.
Her professional journey started in Hong Kong and eventually took her to Taiwan and other nations.
Including Just No Other Way, her first English-language album, Lee has 18 studio albums, two live albums, and five compilation albums to her credit.
Her song “Do You Want My Love” became famous all over the world after reaching the top 50 on both the US Billboard Dance Club Playlist and the Australian Singles List.
Coco Lee was the first Chinese American to perform the “A Love Before Time” song from Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon at the 73rd Academy Awards. Lee was also the first Chinese ambassador for Chanel.
She competed in the fourth season of the Chinese reality program I Am A Singer in 2016 while admitting that losing her voice due to pneumonia in 2014 had hampered her singing ability.

Long social media posts and several photographs from American diva Coco Lee on New Year’s Eve 2023 aroused concerns about her health. On her arms, they had inked the words “love” and “faith” as images.
In December 2022, she stated that she had been in severe need of “love and faith – her two favorite words that she carries strongly in her heart and which the diva desperately needed to get through this tough year.”
The stunning actress said, “Life seemed overwhelming at times. Nevertheless, I developed the attitude of a “female warrior” to face them bravely while always keeping the biggest smile and the loudest laughter.
The 47-year-old singer also posted images of herself posing with what seemed to be a drainage bag on her torso and weighing 42.3kg.
In the comments section of Lee’s article, several concerned followers wished her a speedy recovery and cautioned her to be careful. Others questioned whether she had just undergone surgery or was injured.
Coco Lee, whose most recent song, Playboy, was released in November, acknowledged that she could not dance at the time since Coco Lee was still recovering from an injury.
Coco Lee wrote on social media in November 2022, “I hope to see you guys dance to this song for me.” Lee seemed optimistic in her tweet on New Year’s Eve, though.
