On February 8, Cody Longo, a well-known actor, died at the age of 34. He was best known for his portrayal of Nicholas “Nikki” Alamain on Days of Our Lives.
According to TMZ, Longo was discovered dead at his home while his wife, Stephanie Clark, was working at her dance studio. While praising Longo for being the best parent, Clark expressed her sadness by saying she and her children are sad.
Alex Gittelson, Longo’s agent, also paid tribute to him, saying that they had been friends for a long time before Longo became his client. The message continued:
“My heart goes out to his lovely family. He’d taken a break from acting to explore music and spend more time with his family in Nashville, but we stayed in touch on a regular basis, and he was excited to get back into it this year. Cody was a dedicated, kind, and talented person who will be greatly missed.”

Longo has played a number of roles in film and television over the years. Since 2011, he has been best known for his role on Days of Our Lives as Nicholas “Nikki” Alamain. Nikki travels to Salem in 1999 to visit her Aunt Vivian, who pretended to die in order to exact revenge on Stefano DiMera.
While counseling Kate Roberts, Alamain fell in love with her, but she wasn’t ready for a long-term relationship. Nikki looked up to Vivian and his cousin Lawrence, and he developed a friendship with Bo Brady’s son, Shawn Douglas Brady. Nikki observed Vivian arguing with Lisanne Gardner, who died after being shoved by Nikki. He discovered Carly Manning was his mother in 1993 and attempted to divorce Carly and Bo.
Carly overheard Vivian talking with Nikki in 2011, and when she confronted him, he said he didn’t want to speak with her because she was the murderer of his father. When Nikki arrived in Salem and met his half-sister Melanie Jonas, he apologized to Carly. Days of Our Lives has aired over 14,000 episodes on NBC and Peacock. The show debuted on November 8, 1965.
