American television personality Jill Duggar and her husband Derick Dillard are expecting their third child. The 30-year-old reality star and her husband shared the good news on February 27 on their official website, adding that they had kept the former’s pregnancy “a little secret” from their fans.
“We prayed that God would grant us another child if that was his will. We are overjoyed to announce that our rainbow baby is due in July 2022 because God has heard our prayers.
Miscarriage occurred for Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard. The Counting On star has two children, Israel David, 6, and Samuel Scott, 32, already with Derick Dillard (4). Sadly, the couple miscarried in 2021 despite their plans to name their kid River Bliss. The two continued, saying:
We are quite fortunate for a safe pregnancy and baby so far, and we are eager to learn the gender.
In October 2021, Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard posted a video on YouTube and Instagram showing the moment they discovered they were pregnant for the first time to announce that they had lost their child. A different video shows them announcing the pregnancy to their two boys and having a pizza party to celebrate. But they soon experienced heartbreak. The couple said on their website that when their kids found out about her pregnancy, they were ecstatic.
“As we talked about the pregnancy and how they would be involved both during the procedure and after the baby was delivered, they were bursting with questions and excitement. However, a few days later, we started miscarrying.
The unborn kid’s name, River Bliss Dillard, was also revealed by the couple, who also promised to remember their child forever. Since rivers are typically a serene and beautiful natural retreat, they remarked that River stands for “tranquility.” Later, Jill said on Instagram that the family needed some time to recommit. She claimed that they had increased their family time and returned to their regular schedules.
