Muaddi cleared the air when a Twitter user claimed the rapper cheated on Rihanna with her.The user, known as LOUIS, sent a series of now-deleted Tweets that said, “Rihanna & ASAP Rocky have split.” Rihanna ended their relationship after discovering him cheating on her with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.”The designer reacted with a message addressing the social media outpouring that followed the day before’s rumor.
“I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media does not deserve any response or clarification, especially one this vile,” Muaddi added. Muaddi, who has previously worked with Rihanna and ASAP, said that she originally intended to remain silent but was forced to speak out when the situation looked to be out of control.
“In the last 24 hours, I have been reminded that we live in a society that is so quick to speak on topics regardless of factual basis, and that nothing is off limits,” she said. “While Rih is continuing to live her serene, best-dressed pregnancy life and I go back to my business — I wish everyone a beautiful Easter weekend!” Muaddi ended.
