Toya Johnson criticized DJ Akademiks for calling her daughter Reginae Carter a “bi*ch” and criticizing her past relationships with men. In a video posted by Akademiks on September 24, the 31-year-old celebrity discussed Carter’s dating life in public, namely her relationship with her jailed ex-boyfriend YFN Lucci and her current boyfriend, YouTuber Armon Warren.
He continued by claiming that Reginae’s boyfriend is not a “gangsta” and is “more feminine than she is.” When DJ Akademiks’ comments regarding Carter’s love life became public, Toya Johnson took matters into her own hands and called the YouTuber out for talking about her daughter.
“Akademiks, I can’t stand it when men act like b**ch sh*t. Don’t let the name of my daughter leave your mouth. The pursuit of clout is at an all-time high. Let her live her life as a 23-year-old. Think about your family and yourself. Thanks.
To DJ Akademiks, what did Reginae Carter say?
Rapper YFN Lucci and Reginae had a relationship at one point, but it ended after his incarceration for murder. She was reprimanded by Akademiks for the same, saying:
Reginae admired YFN Lucci and hood n***as.
He continued to extol her virtues, saying that while they were dating, Reginae Carter attended star-studded events with YFN and was ready to face any challenges that came her way.

He then talked about Reginae Carter’s love life for three minutes before bringing up her new lover, Warren. Johnson continued to reprimand the YouTuber, telling him not to worry about the 23-year-dating old’s life.

She also shared a vintage photo of Reginae Carter on social media to show her love for her firstborn. Lil Wayne and Toya Johnson welcomed their first child, Reginae, on November 29, 1998, when they were both still teenagers. In 2004, they got married, however, their marriage was short-lived, and they got divorced in 2006.
According to Famous Birthdays, Reginae was a part of the R&B female group OMG. She is very active on Instagram, where she has 6.7 million followers. On her father’s side, she has three half-brothers: Dwayne Carter III, Kameron Carter, and Neal Carter.
Reginae Carter received Reign Ryan Rushing as a younger sister from her mother. Toya’s and the YouTuber’s controversial claims have not yet received a response from DJ Akademik or Reginae’s father, Lil Wayne.
