Julie Poyer gave birth to Jordan Poyer on April 25, 1991, in Dallas, Oregon. Jordan arrived after Julie and Loius Dunbar, Jordan’s biological father, had split up. Julie’s life as a single mother was challenging, but she believes becoming a mother rescued her.
