Haring Manggi, also known as Miguelito Malakas, is a well-known figure in his home country the Philippines.
Some of the rapper’s fans have started referring to him as “Tupac of the Philippines” and “2Lac” due to the similarities they see between him and the late American rapper Tupac Shakur.
As his real name, is Daniel Naguit, Haring Manggi is frequently involved in legal matters.

This is not the first time that speculation along these lines has circulated online. Reports of Haring’s death by gunfire at the Quirino Grandstand in Ermita, Manila surfaced in March 2022.
Witnesses reportedly saw the rapper surreptitiously hurrying to market gourmet dry items before he was shot dead, and reports indicated that officials were investigating the motivation for the murder to determine “if it was merely a commercial venture.”
Official reports indicate that Haring has been detained as of November 2022. There has been no mention of a fight or any other incident that would have resulted in his death.
On November 15th, 2022, police in his home country of Indonesia detained Haring Manggi Miguelito Malakas for allegedly dealing drugs. The law enforcement agency has taken the rapper-vlogger into custody on narcotics charges.
Haring is now being held in the police station’s jail in Pasay City. In the Philippines, he is considered a major wanted criminal in Pasay City.
According to police officer Byron Tabernilla, the rapper has been arrested for breaking the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act, also known as Republic Act 9165.
After months of searching, authorities located him that afternoon after he met a customer at a mall in Imus, Cavite.
Tabernilla, the officer in command, has declared that the Pasay City Police Department will make an arrest regardless of the suspect’s notoriety.
Although Haring is notorious for showing off big sums of money on social media, his admirers do not believe that his wealth is the product of any illegal activities.
Previously, Haring Manggi had been arrested by Pasay City Police for failing to appear at court sessions linked to narcotics allegations.
The police claim that an arrest warrant for him was issued in December 2021 for drug possession. He had been locked up before, but bail got him out.
Marijuana use was expressly acknowledged as a drug of choice for Haring. He claimed to have carried it out in the year 2020 when he was less well-known. “Of course, we as humans make mistakes,” he continued.
After getting out on bond, however, the vlogger claimed he had no intention of fleeing justice. He also said he had not received any paperwork for his trial.
