Howard Stern Has Expressed Interest In A Presidential Run In 2024

Howard Stern

Howard Stern expressed interest in standing for president in 2024 on Monday, June 27. The recent revocation of the abortion rights granted by the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision likely bolstered this conclusion.

Stern discussed the possibility of replacing Supreme Court Justices who ruled against abortion rights if he were President of the United States on his own program.

After announcing his intention to run for president in 2024, internet users have begun highlighting and criticizing Stern’s use of blackface.

Internet users condemn Howard Stern’s use of the n-word

In 2020, Donald Trump Jr. tweeted about a video in which Howard Stern mocked a Black person by painting his face black and repeatedly using the n-word. The 1993 New Year’s Eve program hosted by Stern included the performance. Later, he addressed the issue on his SiriusXM program, stating:

“I am the first to admit it. I’ll never view those old episodes again; I’m like, ‘Who is that guy?’ Nevertheless, it was my action, and I am pleased of it. I do not believe that Nazi or hate groups embraced me. They seemed to believe that I was also opposed to them. Regarding me, everyone had something to say.”

Others have linked the recent events to the time in 2001 when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wore a brown face to an “Arabian Nights”-themed celebration. However, some remarks appeared to support Stern’s position.

What did Howard Stern have to say about his potential candidacy for president?

Stern stated on his SiriusXM radio program that he is serious and not teasing about running for president:

“If I decide to run for president, and I’m not kidding, the only other thing I’ll do is nominate five more Supreme Court justices…

I’d like to restore the nation’s justice… I am not afraid to attempt. “As soon as I am elected president, five new Supreme Court justices will overturn all of this nonsense.”

In the program, Stern delves deeper into probable candidacy.

He said:

“Over the weekend, I gave a lengthy speech to Robin about how I’m going to do the simple thing that will set the country straight: one vote, one individual, and no more Electoral College. I intend to eliminate it. “Can you accomplish that as president?” Robin said. “I said, “I don’t know, let’s find out!”

Later, he elaborated on how presidential candidates have excessively numerous agendas. On the other hand, Howard Stern stated that his approach would center on making the United States “fair again.”

He said:

“Now, I will undoubtedly have to run for president.”

According to his statement, the repeal of the Roe v. Wade decision is one of the primary reasons for his current commitment to the US Presidential race in 2024. However, he subsequently added another requirement to his prospective candidacy.

Stern informed co-host Robin Quivers that the Republican Party’s support for Donald Trump’s re-election as President of the United States will influence his decision to run for office. Stern continued by stating that in such a scenario, he would pummel Trump’s a**.
