Edwards and Tony Reali wed over ten years ago

The Around the Horn anchor for ESPN is a contented wife. He and his wife Edwards, who exchanged wedding vows on July 3, 2008, have been married for about 12 years, according to his ESPN profile.

The couple settled into the host’s house in Washington, D.C. after getting married. Reali and his wife moved to New York in 2014 to carry on with their program hosting.

On August 18, 2014, they welcomed Francesca Zahra Reali, a baby daughter, into their home. On the same day, the sports expert posted a picture of his newborn daughter on Instagram for everybody to see. He also thanked everyone for their encouragement and kind words.

Tony Reali and his wife had a tragic loss

The Reali pair was maybe the happiest married couple and were expecting twins in June 2018. Sadly, their happiness was short-lived when Amadeo, one of their boys, passed away after delivery.

The recent Fordham University alumnus sent an emotional statement on Twitter on June 17 in which he described the joy and suffering he and his wife were currently going through.

He said in the tweet that their son Amadeo had tragically passed away while he and his fiancée were expecting twins. The family had a memorial service for him afterward and lamented his passing.

Enzo, their second son, was delivered a few weeks early due to an emergency and was able to come home the same week, he also said.

The Realis faced a challenging predicament

The ESPN anchor then considered the incongruous dichotomy he was faced with: the weight of sorrow and the air of joy. It’s understandable that he found the paradox challenging to comprehend. But he saw that he and his wife had to deal with a contradiction.

Throughout the process, they focused their attention on two things. They wanted to express their feelings first and foremost. In order for their loved ones to help them process their emotions when their shoulders could no longer support them, they also needed to be honest with them.

The sportscaster and his wife were eventually able to move past that terrible tragedy with the passage of time. The Realis appears to have shifted their focus in recent years to valuing the family they had.

The host frequently uploads pictures of his two adorable children on his Instagram account, where it is very clear how close they are.
