An accomplished novelist and poet named Courtney Kampa passed away suddenly this past weekend. On Tuesday, November 15, her husband Will Anderson confirmed the information.

Kampa resided in Nashville with her husband and their two dogs, Eddie and Georgie. She taught poetry and writing in Nashville. The world didn’t learn that she had died in a car accident until Anderson corroborated the unfounded rumors, though.

The spouse of Courtney Kampa recalls, “She was always my perfect girl.”

On his Instagram account @willyj1234, musician Wil Anderson revealed the passing of his wife without giving a cause. The post featured a picture of the two people, who were wearing comparable gray sweatshirts.

In a touching post, Anderson informed his 327k followers of the news and praised Courtney Kampa for being smart, funny, and kind. He declared his love for her as he wrapped up the brief message.

According to reports, a terrible car accident in which one other person also perished was the reason for Kampa’s demise. Elizabeth Foss, a fellow author, and writer wrote on Facebook about her sorrow for Kampa and Irene Starrs’ passing.

Although the death has been confirmed, no other details have been made public.
