Kevin Smith’s Past Relationships
The actor and director were dating Joey Lauren Adams in 1995. They dated for two years before divorcing in 1997. Two years following the end of his marriage to his ex-wife, Kevin started dating Jennifer.
Just three months into their relationship, in 1999, the two decided to be married because he didn’t want another amazing thing to fail. The couple gave birth to their first kid not long after that.

The father and daughter met at a neighboring marijuana store in January 2022. Kevin, 51, captioned his Instagram snap with the phrase “When you’re in the marijuana shop, and you run into your child.” Kevin said on the post, “Someone raised that child right,” to which Harley sarcastically retorted in the comments, “It was a surprise but also not at all.”
Harley thought it was a “wonderful gift” to work with her father. She implied that she was filming with a different version of herself when she mentioned that they had similar viewpoints. Kevin agreed, stating that he likes working with his daughter and sees the opportunity as another chance to play with her. Kevin expressed his appreciation, saying, “I thought those days were long gone.”
