The second season of the Netflix original series is expected to continue the mystery that ended the first season. Netflix has released a trailer for the second season, implying that Eric will be resurrected in the Belém do Pará nature reserve. We also see his daughter Luna and Inês in the preview.
A conflict will erupt in the second season between indigenous peoples and prospectors seeking to acquire Belém do Pará for commercial purposes. Carlos Saldanha, the series creator, commented on the second season, saying:
“The second season will be set in the historic city of Belém.” “The new series depicts a multidimensional indigenous Brazil from the north, complete with new beings and fascinating pop culture elements.”

The majority of the cast from the first season will return for the second season. The second season will see the return of Marco Pigossi as Eric, Alessandra Negrini as Ines, and Manu Dieguez as Luna. Leticia Spiller, Mestre Sebá, Simone Spoladore, Zahy Guajajara, Kay Sara, Marcos de Andrade, Julia Konrad, Rodrigo dos Santos, Tatsu Carvalho, Ermelinda Yepario, and Tomás de França will all appear in supporting roles.
