She is truly a person of extraordinary talent. She is intensely motivated and works long hours.
Obama’s writing skills were complimented by Stephen Glover, Glover’s brother and a frequent colleague who is also working on the new series:
She just “will have a lot of wonderful things in the near future,” in my opinion. “I love the way she writes.”
A “unique viewpoint” that Malia Obama possessed was another reason why the showrunners wanted her to join the crew:
“Donald frequently holds the opinion that perspective is essential and that a writers’ room requires people with a variety of viewpoints. And there is no doubt that [Malia] has a unique point of view. As a result, we were excited to work with her and learn from her expertise. Hearing about her experiences and involving her helped us come up with many brilliant ideas.

Obama was not given any special treatment despite being the daughter of the previous president, he added, adding that everyone on the team treated her similarly.
Well, you know, we just hurt her feelings, the narrator says. Because she is the daughter of the [former] President, we cannot treat her leniently. She’s relaxed and serene, not like that. Therefore, it is not a problem,’ he added. She has a lot of brilliant ideas. She is amazing. Malia Obama is just another typical person like the rest of us.
There isn’t much information available about Donald Glover’s upcoming series, but rumors indicate it will be called The Hive and focus on a character who resembles Beyonce a lot.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from Harvard University last year, Malia Obama has since started a new job. She interned on Lena Dunham’s HBO series Girls in 2015 and at the Weinstein Company in 2017 prior to Harvey Weinstein’s arrest.
