Nina, Nasim’s younger sister, became a comedy writer by following in her humorous footsteps. Pedrad attended and graduated from the esteemed UCLA School of Theater, Film, and Television in 2003 as a result of her desire for higher education. She was a valued member of the famous UCLA Spring Sing Company while she was an undergraduate.
She gained a coveted position with The Groundlings’ Sunday Company, where she refined her comic abilities, thanks to her brilliance as a performer.
