Whitney’s mother, Barbara Babs Thore, passed away on December 7, 2022. Cerebral amyloid angiopathy caused the star of My Big Fat Fabulous Life to pass away.
Whitney relayed the sad news on Instagram on behalf of the TLC reality television star. She shared a long message along with an old photo of her mum.
“My mother passed away last night just as the credits rolled on her favorite movie,” Whitney said in the description. “Dad, Hunter, and I held her as she took her last breaths,” she continued.
She welcomed me into the world about forty years ago at 10:32 p.m.
The late star’s daughter announced that she suffered cerebral amyloid angiopathy in the same article. Proteins in the blood arteries of the brain are the source of this progressive illness, which has no known treatment.
Whitney said that the condition might result in dementia, seizures, or a hemorrhagic stroke, as it did in her mother’s instance.
Barbara had three strokes, the most recent of which occurred on November 13 of this year. The late star’s daughter praised her mother and said she was the best gift.
She also recalled her mother’s southern charm, amazing sense of humor, attractiveness, talent for making others feel at ease, and concern for others.
Whitney also expressed gratitude to her viewers and supporters for their support of Barbara Babs Thore. She claimed that her mother was more thrilled than anybody in the family could put it about her new TV profession.
Barbara continued by saying that her new profession had given her a feeling of excitement, purpose, and something to look forward to every time the crew members arrived.
She also hoped that others would continue to find solace and joy in Mrs. Thore’s recollections.

Glenn Thore and Barbara Thore had a happy marriage. The couple was married in August 1977. Since that time, the gorgeous couple has co-led a lovely family till Barbara Thore’s passing.
The spouse of the My Big Fat Fabulous Life actress is the vice president and general manager of Winston-Salem, North Carolina-based Millennium Print Group.
Barbara was also the devoted mother of Whitney Way Thore and Hunter Thore. The TLC reality series featured the Thore siblings.
The members of the Thore family are incredibly close and supportive of one another.
Whitney Thore was born on April 14, 1984, making her 38 years old. Hunter Thore, who was born in February 1985 and will be 37 years old in 2022, is a similar example. Both of them are adults who are now living separate lives.
Nevertheless, Barbara Thore enjoyed a lovely life and achieved great success in her career. She also had a lovely family. We essentially wish the Thore family the resilience to bear the loss.
