According to a widely believed report, the Los Angeles Police Department has detained and charged the actor for his activities.
Many followers now accept as true rumors that Will was detained and accused of assaulting Chris. However, because the actor declined to lodge a complaint, as of Wednesday (March 30), no legal action has been taken against him.
The person involved “has declined to file a police report,” according to the police. The LAPD will be available to finish an investigative report if the affected party wants to get a police report later. Chris has also not spoken about the incident or accepted Will’s Instagram apology.

Even Jim Carrey’s comments on Will have been misinterpreted by others, who thought the Liar Liar actor was suing Will. In an interview, Jim talked to Gayle King about the incident.
He explained, “That footage is going to be there for all time; it’s going to be all over the place. I would have announced this morning that I was suing Will for $200 million.” That remark will hurt for a very long time.
Contrary to what many people think, the actor didn’t say that he was suing Will. Jim merely said that he would have taken action against the actor if he had been in Chris’ position.

Will expressed regret for his “unacceptably outrageous” actions during the award ceremony to Chris, the Academy, and all viewers.
“Violence is poisonous and harmful in all of its manifestations. My conduct at last night’s Academy Awards was reprehensible and excuseless. A joke about Jada’s health issues was too much for me to take, and I reacted emotionally, even though it’s part of my profession to be made fun of.
He then remarked, “I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris,” before repeating it. I was wrong and I was out of line. I’m ashamed because my behavior did not represent the kind of man I aspire to be.
