Andrea was born in East Berlin on June 10, 1965. Andrea Kiewel grew up as a competitive swimmer in the GDR. In 1993, she appeared on “Sat.1 Breakfast Television” and gained widespread recognition on TV in Germany.
She subsequently appeared on several ZDF Saturday night programs and received her own show, “Einstimm,” on RTL. Now that she has been parodied by Martina Hill, she is THE face of “TV Garden” — what a compliment!
Andrea was prohibited from presiding over “TV Garden” in 2008. But in 2007, a significant television scandal occurred. “Weight Watchers” was accused of paying Kiwi for clandestine advertising.
Due to the expiration of her contract with the broadcaster ZDF, she was unable to appear on “Fernsehengarten” during the 2008 season.
