Diamante Crafts, a Mansfield-based seller of arts and crafts, was founded by Jacqueline O’Neill. A businesswoman from Nottinghamshire expressed her “delight” in providing the glitter for the Strictly Come Dancing costumes.
She said that it had given the BBC One show, which debuted on Friday, diamond sequins.
Other clients have included Sir Elton John and Marvel Studios.
Due to the Queen’s passing, Strictly Come Dancing has finally returned to the nation’s television screens.
Seeing some of Mrs. O’Neill’s possessions on the screen, she added, was beautiful.
“We sold Strictly Come Dancing diamonds for the costumes, and we sold judge Anton Du Beke extra-large ostrich plumes.
In addition, a George Michael music video and an Elton John album cover also used our items.
We know it was included in the most recent Marvel movie, but we aren’t sure which one because it is top secret, she said.
Three-time mother Mrs. O’Neill began the company in her living room when her kids were still very little.
Since then, it has grown into a 5,000 square foot (465 square meters) warehouse with an about £500,000 yearly turnover.
Her spouse, kids, and other family members are now all employed by the company.
“I wasn’t an entrepreneur before, I just wanted to create our own business,” she said, adding that she had previously had a regular office job and that her husband worked as a printer.
The entire family is pleased with what we have accomplished.
