Jalen Carter Has Been Arrested?
UGA standout Jalen Carter has not yet been jailed as of the time of this writing, but he will shortly. Jalen recently received arrest warrants after a road accident investigation stemming from an accusation of racing and reckless driving.
A University of Georgia athlete and a member of the recruiting team were killed in the tragedy. A source claims that Jalen and a Georgia employee were street racing before the employee’s car crashed into telephone poles.
The police said in a press release on Wednesday that they are aggressively looking to apprehend Carter on allegations of racing and careless driving. This is an important step in their continuing investigation into the horrific tragedy that claimed the lives of Devin Willock and Chandler LeCroy, two committed Georgia recruiting staff members. The authorities are doing everything in their power to bring the victims and their families justice.
UGA star Jalen Carter is allegedly connected to an accident that claimed the life of a teammate. Charges of racing and reckless driving have been brought against the University of Georgia defensive lineman Jalen Carter about a collision that claimed the lives of Devin Willock and Chandler LeCroy.
In addition, Jalen was on the site of the collision but departed before help came. LeCroy had a blood alcohol level of.197 during the crash, which is more than twice the legal limit in Georgia, according to toxicology findings.
Sadly, Willock and LeCroy’s outcomes were quite different. LeCroy originally survived the collision but tragically died away later at the hospital, whilst Willock was forcibly thrown from the car and succumbed to his injuries at the spot. This is a sobering reminder of the terrible consequences of careless driving and the need of driving responsibly.
While the inquiry is underway, Jalen’s mother, Toni Brown, declined to comment on the allegations against her son. More information will be released shortly as the inquiry continues.
