In order to develop the new menu for the SpudULike by James Martin restaurant chain, which will open its doors in the fall of 2021, Martin collaborated with potato producer Albert Bartlett. Spudulike has reopened after operating from 1974 until 2019.
In New Milton, Hampshire, there is a casual dining restaurant and culinary school called The Kitchen-Cookery School at Chewton Glen. James works there as a teacher.

Fans were frightened when celebrity chef James Martin said that he was in the hospital for an MRI and possibly need surgery.
The 55-year-old shared images of his dog Ralph and a hospital MRI Suite sign on Instagram to alert followers of their impending surgery.
He captioned the image, “Seems like we are both becoming old fella,” This morning I brought him down for an operation, but I also need one.
About the surgery he was undergoing or the disease he was treating, the Saturday Kitchen host omitted information.
The news of his health update, however, concerned his supporters, who hastened to post encouraging comments.
Fans reacted quickly, with one saying: “Goodness. Both of you shouldn’t take it too seriously, I hope. He, best wishes for a quick recovery from your two surgery.

After leaving the popular BBC culinary program in 2016—after 10 years as host—Martin said that his health had become worse.
