James May, a well-known television host, and journalist was involved in an accident on Friday, August 12, and was taken to the hospital.
He was said to have cracked one of his ribs and experienced neck and back pain as a result of the collision. May was filming The Grand Tour for Amazon Prime Video at the decommissioned Olavsvern naval facility near Tromso at the time of the incident. It all starts with Olivia and then moves on to Anne Heche. Salman Rushdie and James May are currently hospitalized.
What brought James May to the hospital?
While filming a drag race with Jeremy Clarkson for The Grand Tour, May’s car collided with a wall, breaking a rib. For the challenge, May and Clarkson had to drive their rally cars down a tunnel toward a rock wall at a Norwegian naval station.
The tunnel light, on the other hand, only turned on as the vehicles accelerated, giving drivers less than five seconds to respond if there wasn’t enough space. May appeared to have realized too late, as he slammed on the brakes before collapsing into the wall. Paramedics rushed to the scene and assisted May in getting to the hospital, while the show continued to air without him.
According to one source who spoke with The Sun,
“At first, it appeared to be very concerning. Because Jeremy and Richard were concerned about their friend, paramedics arrived quickly. As with any large-scale production, medical personnel are on standby in the event that something tragically goes wrong, as it did here.”
According to the source, James hit his head hard and is currently experiencing back and neck pain. May and Clarkson, as well as Richard Hammond, James May, and Andy Wilman, created The Grand Tour. The show premiered on November 18, 2016, and has received positive reviews from both critics and audiences.
