Nightbirde from America’s Got Talent, Jane Marczewski, passed away on February 20, 2022, at the age of 31. Her passing was reported to TMZ by an insider.

The late singer had been receiving counseling for a while. However, it was claimed that her cancer had spread to a number of organs, including her lungs, spine, and liver.
When she left America’s Got Talent in August of last year due to health issues, she was one of the most well-known participants on the 16th season. Marczewski was diagnosed with cancer in 2017, and he fought it for almost four years.
Heartbreaking cancer fight of Nightbird
2017 saw Jane Marczewski receive a stage 3 breast cancer diagnosis. After receiving therapy for her disease, Nightbird was declared cancer-free in July 2018.
The Ohio native, who has been writing songs since age six, returned to music after surviving cancer for the first time. A few months later, in March 2019, Marczewski issued her first track as Girl in a Bubble, her stage name. After a protracted hiatus, she returned to live performances in April of that same year.
Marczewski was given three to six months to live after her cancer returned in 2019. But a second diagnosis revealed she was cancer-free a year later.
After her AGT audition was broadcast, she disclosed to NBC4i.com last year that her sickness had returned. At the time, the illness had spread to her other organs. Marczewski stated during her tryouts that she had a “2% chance of survival, but 2% is not 0%.”
In February 2020, Jane Marczewski moved to Los Angeles after divorcing her husband. She posted on Instagram after doing a turn.
“This battle with cancer has been the most challenging I’ve ever experienced. I look forward to a bright future, and I appreciate your investment in it.
Howie Mandel, an AGT judge, paid tribute to the late contestant on Twitter after learning of her passing. Mandel called Jane Marczewski “a dazzling, encouraging light.” In response to Mandel’s remark, AGT judge Heidi Klum shared a photo of Marczewski on her Instagram story.
The American Idol host Terry Crews expressed his sympathy to Nightbirde’s family and coworkers. In the meantime, a lot of AGT fans paid their condolences to the late singer on social media. She was lauded in several tweets for serving as an example for others. A number of admirers honored her legacy by posting quotes from the show.
