According to reports, Kairi married a man named Johnny Sane, albeit she has not confirmed that this is his identity. Kairi Sane, real name Kaori Housako, is a Japanese professional wrestler who rose to notoriety in the WWE.
Before joining WWE in 2017, she started her wrestling career in Japan, fighting in organizations such as the World Wonder Ring Stardom. In WWE, she was primarily connected with the NXT brand, winning the NXT Women’s Championship in 2018.
Sane left WWE in 2020 to return to Japan and spend more time with her family. In November 2023, she returned as a villain at Crown Jewel, supporting Iyo Sky in defending the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair.

She announced that she would marry her fiancé on February 22, 2023, following a long-distance courtship that lasted throughout their journey together. Sane also praised him for his support through the ups and downs, expressing her desire to spend the rest of her life with him. She also made it clear that she does not plan to retire from wrestling anytime soon.

Sane makes her WWE return on Saturday, competing for the WWE Women’s Championship at Crown Jewel. Returning as a heel, Sane teamed up with IYO SKY to help her defeat Bianca Belair. While Belair attempted to pin Sky, Bayley jumped onto the apron to give a distraction.
Belair retaliated by confronting Bayley outside the ring. Sky tried to intervene, but Belair avoided her, causing Sky to collide with Bayley accidentally. Belair was ready to give a KOD to Bayley when Sane unexpectedly returned and saved her. Sane blasted Belair with a back punch before landing a knee blow into the barrier, knocking him into the ring post.
The referee was focused on Sky and did not notice Sane’s assault. This allowed Belair to re-enter the ring without being counted out. However, SKY took advantage of the chance by performing a moonsault and pinning Belair to retain the WWE Women’s Championship.
