Alumni of The Challenge Cohutta Lee Grindstaff is now engaged. On Thanksgiving Eve, he proposed to his longtime love Katelyn Corley. The couple has been together for around three years.
Cohutta announced the engagement on social media alongside various photos of him and his fiancée Katelyn displaying her engagement ring. It was the “easiest yes” Katelyn had ever spoken. Some of his MTV co-stars congratulated the happy couple on their marriage.
Katelyn Corley is a “bead maker” engaged to The Challenge alum Cohutta Lee Grindstaff.
On Instagram, Katelyn Corley defines herself as a “bead maker.” She creates beaded bracelets and earrings, which she frequently shows on social media. Moreover, Corley is a hair and makeup artist.
Corley is a native of Alabama. According to her LinkedIn page, she earned a degree in public relations from the University of Alabama’s Faculty of Communication and Information Sciences. She has minors in computer science and psychology as well.
She began working at Cumberland Hotel Group as a bartender. Corley currently works as a clinical recruiter at SCP Health. She also works as a real estate agent for Yellowstone Brokers in Montana.
Corley and her current spouse, Cohutta, are also co-owners of a commercial and residential building company. Katelyn is an animal lover who enjoys hiking and traveling during her free time.
Cohutta Lee is back for Season 2 of The Challenge: All Stars
Cohutta was born and raised in the Southern Appalachian Mountains of Northern Georgia. According to his official website, cohuttalee.com, he is also in the construction industry and has spent the previous 15 years working on various outstanding building projects.
Cohutta made her television debut on The Real World: Sydney before appearing in four seasons of The Challenge. The fan-favorite Cohutta then returned for the second season of All-Stars. Throughout the episode, he collaborated with Casey Cooper.
Nevertheless, his time on the program was cut short when Casey discovered during filming that she was pregnant. Cohutta had to leave the program due to Casey’s disqualification. Lee was eliminated prior to the sixth elimination.
Cohutta stated in an All Stars 2 confessional interview that certain things in life are “bigger than The Challenge.” Following a five-year break, Cohutta rejoined the Challenge All-Stars.
In addition to The Island, The Ruins, Free Agents, and Battle of the Bloodlines, he participated in The Island, The Ruins, and Free Agents. Prior to meeting Katelyn, Cohutta dated Challenge participants Nany González and KellyAnne Judd, but the relationships ended quickly.
Cohutta confessed to breaking up with Nany and “maybe breaking her heart” in a 2015 interview with People, as Nany “didn’t take it very well.”
Nany expressed her sadness at the moment to the source, saying:
“I regret that Cohutta persuaded me that it would work in practice.” And he had me down my guard, expose myself for him, and fall in love with him, which I did.”
Currently, Cohutta is married to Katelyn. The couple lives on a sheep farm in Paradise Valley, Montana.
