Longchamp, a French luxury brand, has announced that Kim Se-Jeong, a Korean singer and actress, will be its Asian ambassador. This is the first time a Korean celebrity has been chosen as the company’s global spokesperson.
Kim Se-Jeong will star in the Longchamp Spring/Summer 2023 campaign, which will debut in Asia in mid-February 2023. The images for the campaign were shot in Seoul and were overseen by creative director Sophie Delafontaine.
Se-Jeong appears in the campaign wearing essentials from the brand’s ready-to-wear collection, which features daring color, pattern, and material combinations. Longchamp’s signature bags, such as the new Box-Trot in natural canvas, leather, and brilliant candy pink, round out these looks.

Longchamp Singapore and Malaysia general manager Mollie Jean De Dieu welcomed the actress and introduced her as their new ambassador. In the post, the manager says:
“We are thrilled to welcome the South Korean actress, singer, and star of the rom-com series Business Proposal.”
She went on to say that she believes Se-Jeong is the best candidate for Longchamp.
“Kim is more than just another “face,” we believe, but someone who truly understands and connects with the brand.”
In the article, the manager described her interaction with Se-Jeong, as well as how the actress believes that this relationship will benefit both the firm and the actress. According to the star of the Business Proposal,
“The fact that Longchamp and I have much in common means that I feel delighted, rather than stressed. It is an honor to collaborate with Longchamp, which embodies Parisian flair, and I believe we can maximize our connection by focusing on our shared strengths and interests.”

Longchamp praised the former I.O.I. member for her “warm and bright look” and “dynamic and true image,” which they believe are in line with the design brand’s principles. The brand also emphasized her performance in the successful SBS drama Business Proposal, for which she received numerous honors, including the AAA Best Actor Award, the DCM Popularity Award, and the SBS Drama Award for Best Actress.

Kim Se-Jeong rose to fame after appearing on Mnet’s Produce 101 and later as a member of the girl group I.O.I. After her contract with the female group expired, she joined Gugudan, a Jellyfish Entertainment girl group that split in 2020.
She made her acting debut in 2016 and since then has worked as a solo artist and actor in a number of hit dramas including School 2017, The Uncanny Encounter, Today’s Webtoon, and Business Proposal.
