Lena Headey, from Game of Thrones, wed Marc Menchaca, from Ozark, in a private ceremony in Italy, in front of their closest friends and family.
Lena Headey, a well-known actor best known for portraying Cersei Lannister in the HBO series, recently wed Ozark actor Marc Menchaca in Italy. On October 6, the pair wed in a discreet ceremony in Puglia, Italy. Pictures of the happy bride and groom exchanging their “I Dos” were shared on social media.
In a tasteful white bridal gown and veil, Headey, 49, looked stunning as she made her way down the aisle. The newlyweds were captured in a photo strolling next to one other while beaming broadly.
In one of the pictures that have been going popular on social media, Menchaca, 46, could be seen holding her hand while donning a blue three-piece suit.
Lena and Mac’s relationship took a serious turn last year when The Sun stated that she sees no use in staying in the UK because she sees herself living in the US and has a “blossoming connection with Marc.” When they were spotted together in November 2020, Headey and Menchaca declared their love.

This Is Where We Live, which won the 2013 Heartland Film Festival Award, was co-directed, co-written, and starred in Menchaca as the lead. The actor has made appearances in several television programs, including Ozark in 2018, in which he is best known for portraying Russ Langmore.
Marc has appeared in 2019 television productions such as The Sinner, Manifest, and The Outsider. For his major part in the movie Reparation, the actor also won the best actor at the Breckenridge Film Festival in 2016.

Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark on the show, was spotted at the event with her husband Joe Jonas, so it was kind of like a reunion.
Tyrion Lannister, played by Peter Dinklage, and Lord Varys, played by Conleth Hill, were also present during the event. Pop icon Rick Astley attended the celebrity-studded event along with other guests.
At the wedding, Sophie Turner was spotted posing for pictures with guests Michala Cutting, Brian Moore, and Charley McEwan. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena’s Game of Thrones on-screen love interest, reportedly attended the wedding as well. Sean Bean, Kit Harington, and other prominent GOT celebrities did not attend.

Headey’s third wedding took place in Italy with Menchaca. In 2007, she wed guitarist Peter Paul Loughran, who later became her first husband. Although the pair decided to split in 2013, six years later.
Wylie, 11, is the son of the former couple. After meeting in 2015, the actress dated the filmmaker Dan Cadan for two years before they got engaged. After six months of engagement, the couple was married in 2018. Later, in 2019, the couple, who also had a daughter named Teddy, split up.
She was also linked to Jerome Flynn, who played Ser Bronn on the television series Game of Thrones. Despite having purportedly dated in the early 2000s, Jerome and Lena first met in 1999 while working on the set of his television series Soldier Soldier. Their connection was never formally acknowledged, though. Even still, Flynn described Lena as a “great person and an even better actor” back in 2019.

Headey, who rose to fame as Cersei Lannister, was proposed by her co-star Peter Dinklage to play the well-known figure. Lena got five nominations for Primetime Emmy Awards and one for a Golden Globe Award for her depiction of Cersei.
Headey was slated to feature in the latest Marvel Studios film Thor: Love and Thunder after becoming famous for her work on Game of Thrones, but her part was ultimately deleted for unspecified reasons.
According to a July story by Variety, Headey’s previous agency was suing her for USD 1.5 million for unpaid commission fees for several projects, including her chopped role in Thor: Love and Thunder. Before her role in Thor, Lena appeared in the Navot Papushado-directed action movie Gunpowder Milkshake alongside Karen Gillan, Joanna Bobin, Freya Allan, and Michelle Yeoh.
