On July 20, 1963, Martin Leyland Roberts, an English television personality, real estate professional, company entrepreneur, and author, was born.
Along with Martel Maxwell and Dion Dublin, he co-hosts the BBC One property auction program Homes Under the Hammer. He also presents the Talkradio show “Home Rule with Martin Roberts,” on which he talks about real estate.

Martin Roberts said after his near-death experience with health concerns earlier this year when his heart, kidney, and liver failure, that he feels as though he has been given a “second shot at life.”
The 59-year-old presenter was admitted to the hospital in April with chest pains he believed were the result of chronic COVID, but it was later found that the fluid buildup around his heart was a pericardial effusion.
