The co-stars are a married couple with two kids. The pair announced on Instagram that they were expecting their first child in 2018 after ten years of marriage. The actress made the announcement that she and her husband were expecting their second child shortly after, in July 2019.
The actress, who has two kids and a demanding acting career, was open about parenting and how she made it all work. She said in an interview with Parade that she didn’t bring her work home because her child could tell if she did.
“I gather myself, open the door, and walk away from everything. If I don’t, my son will suspect that I’ve brought work home with me. So that I may be fully there with him, it has been a great discipline to practice a little meditation.
The actress acknowledged that parenting has an effect on her work as an actor when questioned about it. She claimed that because O’Brien is a single mother, she could more easily relate to and comprehend her want to go home and be with her family.
Parenting, according to Ory, was challenging, but it was a little bit easier when there were more people available to help.
