Michael Bibi, A DJ Of Dance Music, Has A Rare Cancer

Michael Bibi

It was discovered that DJ Michael Bibi has a rare type of brain and spinal cancer. The dance music producer claimed he was still receiving treatment at the hospital and that everything was “moving fast”.

He informed his followers on Instagram on Monday night that he had been given a primary central nervous system (CNS) cancer diagnosis.

The 32-year-old said,

“I don’t know what lies ahead, I’m exhausted, but I know I am strong, and I won’t let this beat me.”

Michael is one of the most well-liked DJs in the British dance scene, and his kind of house music is noted for its rhythm.

This summer, he was scheduled to perform at both Glastonbury and the Parklife event in Manchester while holding a residency at the DC10 nightclub in Ibiza.

The DJ shared the information on Instagram along with a photo of himself making the peace sign while holding a cannula.

“Typing this message doesn’t quite seem real, and I’m sorry for the bad news,” he wrote.

I’ll return to you all stronger. I adore Bibi.

His record company, Solid Grooves, also shared a photo on Instagram, noting that he has brought the brand all over the world “while maturing and growing into an international superstar.”

The group said,

“While he heals, the entire team sends our love and support, and we hope to have him back with us as soon as possible to create more memories.”

From a heavyweight in London to a world superstar

Over the past five years, Michael has had a rapid ascent; his transformation from a London heavyweight to a global celebrity is a credit to his ability and hard work.

He is a talented producer and well-known DJ who is inspiring the next wave of ravers with his Solid Grooves-branded warehouse gigs in the UK and well-liked Ibiza residency.

Although his popularity has increased, he has remained the same humble person I used to encourage on my late-night Radio 1 program when he was first starting out.

Everyone who has ever worked with Michael or had a connection with him is undoubtedly experiencing extreme emotion when they hear the news.

“I know the entire dancing world is behind him. We all need to be strong for him. Send him love and support as he struggles through this tragic period.”

Skrillex and Jamie Jones, two of the greatest names in dance music, sent comments on Michael’s Instagram post to let him know they were thinking of him.

Martin Garrix, a Dutch DJ, wrote:

“You got this dude! sending love and strength in abundance.

“This is very sad. I cannot fathom what you are going through at this moment. I hope you get better soon,” stated Belgian DJ Charlotte de Witte.

Michael is renowned for his extended sets and manages two of his own record labels, Solid Grooves and SG Raw.

He had to postpone some of his appearances earlier this year because of chronic health problems connected to his tinnitus.

The DJ later released a video online in May in which he claimed that the issues were caused by “more serious” neurological issues.
