A well-known actor named Mickey Kuhn passed away on November 20 at the age of 90. His wife, Barbara, informed The Hollywood Reporter that he had been in good health up until recently and had been at a hospice facility in Naples, Florida, where he passed away.

Mickey Kuhn reunited with Vivien Leigh in the 1951 Southern Gothic drama film A Streetcar Named Desire after a 12-year absence. He was an aviation electrician in the Navy from 1951 to 1955.

After leaving the film industry in 1956, Mickey Kuhn spent his final years as an administrator for American Airlines at the Boston airport.

He still takes part in film festivals, and in 2005 he received the Golden Boot Award, given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the Western subgenre. King of the Underworld, S.O.S.

The family moved to Los Angeles, where his father worked as a meat cutter for Safeway. Mickey said in an interview with the website Films of the Golden Age:

“A woman contacted my mother and me at Sears Roebuck on Santa Monica and Western and said that Fox Studio was looking for twin kids for a movie they were filming. She thought we might get cast since her infant daughter resembled me. As a result of our journey there, I received a cast but not the baby of the mother.
