A well-known actor named Mickey Kuhn passed away on November 20 at the age of 90. His wife, Barbara, informed The Hollywood Reporter that he had been in good health up until recently and had been at a hospice facility in Naples, Florida, where he passed away.

He started acting as a child actor and worked in Hollywood’s Golden Age of cinema. His performances in movies including Gone with the Wind, Juarez, A Tree Grows in Brooklyn, Red River, and Broken Arrow helped him become well-known.
Over the years, Mickey Kuhn appeared in a number of movies, but he is most known for his part in the 1939 historical romance Gone with the Wind. He portrayed Beau Wilkes, a minor supporting role in Gone with the Wind. Ashley Wilkes, the character’s son, was portrayed by Leslie Howard.
Beau played an important supporting part alongside Paul Hurst, Cammie King, J.M. Kerrigan, Jackie Moran, and Lillian Kemble-Cooper despite not being the movie’s main protagonist. According to reports, Kuhn was the only credited cast member who is still alive.
The main actors in the film were Olivia de Havilland, Leslie Howard, Vivien Leigh, and Clark Gable. Victor Fleming’s Gone with the Wind had its world debut on December 15, 1939. Although it received positive reviews, the film’s length bothered critics and moviegoers. The movie won 10 Oscars in 10 categories at the 12th Academy Awards.

Mickey Kuhn reunited with Vivien Leigh in the 1951 Southern Gothic drama film A Streetcar Named Desire after a 12-year absence. He was an aviation electrician in the Navy from 1951 to 1955.
After leaving the film industry in 1956, Mickey Kuhn spent his final years as an administrator for American Airlines at the Boston airport.
He still takes part in film festivals, and in 2005 he received the Golden Boot Award, given to individuals who have made significant contributions to the Western subgenre. King of the Underworld, S.O.S.
Tidal Wave, When Tomorrow Comes, Bad Little Angel, and One Foot in Heaven are some of the other movies in which Kuhn had an appearance. In movies like The Searching Wind, The Return of Rusty, High Conquest, Magic Town, and others, he has appeared.
The family moved to Los Angeles, where his father worked as a meat cutter for Safeway. Mickey said in an interview with the website Films of the Golden Age:
“A woman contacted my mother and me at Sears Roebuck on Santa Monica and Western and said that Fox Studio was looking for twin kids for a movie they were filming. She thought we might get cast since her infant daughter resembled me. As a result of our journey there, I received a cast but not the baby of the mother.
