Police in Peabody are searching for a man who vanished after being locked out of his car. Maine resident Michael Gray, 31, was last seen on Saturday night.

Police are seeking a Maine man who was reported missing and last seen in Massachusetts.

According to a Facebook post by the Peabody Police Department, Michael Gray, 31, of Maine, was reported missing by a family member Sunday morning at about 10:33.

After being locked out of his car on Saturday night, Gray vanished from view.

Gray was given a lift to a relative’s business in Peabody after he called the Peabody Police Department for help but was unable to get into his car, according to the release.

Massachusetts’ PEABODY Maine resident Michael Gray has been missing since December 10. His family last saw him in Peabody when on a visit.

He is described as a white male, age 31, with tattoos, long brown hair, and blue eyes. He stands between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall.

Jules Gray, his wife, has turned to Instagram to solicit help finding her husband.

I’m sincerely asking for assistance on this platform. I have reason to believe my husband may be anywhere right now, including Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, or Vermont, given his adventurous nature and love of the outdoors,” Jules Gray stated in an Instagram post on December 27.

I’ll do anything at this point, and all I’m trying to do is raise awareness of the issue and maybe draw in as many viewers as I can.

On December 12, the Peabody Police Department tweeted requesting the public’s assistance locating Michael Gray.

“On 12-11-2022 at 10:33 am, a family member reported Michael missing. On Saturday night, Mr. Gray was locked out of his car when he vanished.

Mr. Gray requested assistance from the Peabody Police in accessing his car.

Still, when the entry was not possible, he was given a ride to a family member’s workplace on Main Street in Peabody, Massachusetts, according to the tweet.

Case Update: Is Mike Grey Found?

His window-broken automobile was discovered at Spring Pond and pulled inside.

Jules Gray said in an Instagram story that he “probably” broke his car window to grab the keys before calling a friend who works as a Police officer in Peabody and was on duty at the time.

He was given permission to use his sister’s automobile and was taken to her workplace to fetch it.

On December 28, she stated in an Instagram story, “His aim was to sleep at his mom’s House that evening and never showed up, and that was the last time anyone has seen him — or her car.”

According to a post on Instagram by Jules Gray, he was last seen driving a black Ford Escape with Massachusetts license plate 7AF 586.

Since his wallet and license were discovered at Spring Pond in Peabody, Michael Gray has been missing both items. Since December 10th, he hasn’t touched or even turned on his phone.
