Mike Schank was a cancer patient

According to the Milwaukee Record, Mike passed away on Thursday morning while being held by his mother. However, the cause of death was not immediately apparent. It is important to note that Schank was in the latter stages of the disease when she received her cancer diagnosis in June 2022. On Facebook, he posted the news, writing:

“I recently learned that I had a rare form of cancer. My esophagus was the starting point, and it spread to my liver, lungs, and many other organs. They won’t be able to cure it because it is stage 4, but they will try to treat it with radiation and chemotherapy.

It’s unclear, though, whether cancer played a role in his passing. But it has been determined for the time being that he was not hospitalized before passing away and that he might have passed away as a result of other medical issues.
